Do download services affect bloggers’ motivation to create content?
I’ve been wondering about this a lot. I follow a few small creators, and one of them mentioned in stories that people saving their clips without engagement kind of makes them feel invisible. It made me think — if lots of people just download videos instead of liking, commenting, or sharing through the platform, does it discourage creators from posting new stuff? Or maybe most don’t even care as long as their work is seen?

That’s a really good point. I have a friend who runs a travel account, and she says it feels better when people interact directly on her posts. But honestly, I think most creators understand their content will be saved one way or another. I sometimes use the SnapInsta app to save clips for offline viewing, but I always make sure to still leave a comment or like. That way the creator knows I appreciated it, even if I watch later.
