Office water fountain maintenance

Our office building has one of those Elkay water fountains with the built-in bottle filler. It’s been working great for years, but recently the filter light turned red, and water pressure seems lower. Facilities guy is out for a while, so I figured I’d look into fixing it. I found this page: https://manuals.online/elkay, which looks like it has manuals, but I’m not totally sure where to start. Is it just a matter of swapping the filter, or could it be something with the lines? Anyone familiar with troubleshooting these?

Dealt with a few of those at my workplace too. When the red light shows up, it's almost always just the filter needing replacement. But if the water pressure drops significantly, it might mean buildup in the lines or the solenoid valve sticking. The product manuals explain how to check both. What helped me most was the step-by-step reset instructions after changing the filter — easy to miss otherwise.
