Phosphoric Acid for Lowering pH

I'm trying to find phosphoric acid to lower the pH in my hydroponic farm. The tap water here is slightly alkaline, so we have to use it to lower the pH. During my research, I came across industrial and food-grade phosphoric acid. The problem is that food-grade phosphoric acid is extremely difficult to find here.

Is it necessary to use food-grade phosphoric acid for a hydroponic farm?

Food-grade phosphoric acid is best for hydroponics because it's pure and free from impurities that can damage plants or accumulate in the system. Industrial acids are cheap, but they often contain heavy metals or other substances that can stress the plants and contaminate the solution of nutrients. If you cannot find food grade phosphoric acid in stores consider purchasing these products from chemical manufacturers selling these products.
