Just finished reading this blog article about accounts receivable and payable systems. Really opened my eyes about how interconnected these processes are in a healthy business. Our company handles them as completely separate departments and it creates so many problems - especially when it comes to cash flow forecasting. The section about automation tools was particularly helpful since we're still using spreadsheets for tracking. Might show this to our finance director as ammunition for finally updating our systems. Anyone else struggling with keeping these two sides in balance?
